New Goats @ Henry Milker Farm

Baby Goats, Millie Does It Again

Millie (above) is the original inspiration for the development of the famous Henry Milker. It was this lovely girl that allowed all of the testing that took place 4 years ago (2007) that led to the eventual development of the very popular hand operated, vacuum milker.
These new babies, a buckling and a doeling, are about the cutest thing I've ever seen. It is truly amazing, it makes no difference how many times you have helped deliver goats, each new delivery seems to be the best, cutest and most adjusted to all of the animals at the Red Fence Farm in Palmer, Alaska. Our 5 dogs, 4 cats and now 9 goats are always interested in and quickly introduced to any new animals born on our farm. After Millie raises these 2, she'll not be bred again and will relax and pasture for the rest of her life. It's been a long winter here in Alaska, I can't wait to get Millie back up on the goat milking stand and get some fresh milk.
